A bit about us
We are a non profitable self-funded cat rescue team based in Blackburn, but we also operate in the surrounding areas, that rely on the generous support of individual public donors and our own fundraising activities.
The rescue is run by a small admin team and is supported by a great number of foster carers and fundraisers, all people involved with Little Tinkers (LT) are volunteers, without whom we could not operate. Every penny raised is paid direct to our vet account for treatment and towards the cats and kittens up keep.
LT was established in 2014 and has so far been responsible for re-homing thousands of felines along with trapping, neutering and releasing/returning feral felines to safe areas and farms. With the help and support from our volunteers, and generous donations, we hope we can long continue this work to give these beautiful cats the homes they deserve.
The majority of our felines have not had the best start in life having come in off the streets as strays or feral and are in need of support from their new families. To ensure they get this it is our policy to carry out home checks on all potential new homes prior to adoption. In this way we hope to provide the most suitable homes for our felines and give them the best possible chance of finding their new forever homes.
If you would like to get involved with LT and our work, why not make a donation, volunteer or foster. Any help you can offer will always be greatly appreciated by all of us here at LT and of course by all of the cats in our care!
